Monique & Paul Hodges took over The Boot in February 2008. Already established as a successful food and drink venue, our mission is to continue with this success by further developing the quality of our offering through locally sourced, and wherever possible, organic produce. The Boot is one of the few remaining free-of-tie public houses in the area which means we can offer varied menus to suit your tastes. We aim to hold various events throughout the year. In March, we had a very successful St. Patrick's Day Party when the brilliant 'Horrors of Whiskey', a duo playing a guitar and fiddle, entertained and encouraged everyone to sing along and get into the spirit. Some customers (including the landlord) enjoyed the limelight so much, we couldn't get them off the microphone! We have had excellent feedback about the night and due to popular demand, we will definitely be arranging some more live music sessions over the coming year. Talking of live music, a Beer Festival is already planned for the weekend of 13th September 2008 when the famous cockney duo Chas 'n' Dave will be playing - watch this space for more info! We will also be holding a New Year's Eve Dinner & Dance so again watch this space for more info nearer the time. We will strive to build good relationships with the local community and the local council to ensure that Sarratt remains a beautiful and welcoming village. Where possible, we also endeavour to support local clubs, charities and schools through sponsorship. We pride ourselves on being friendly and approachable and would welcome any feedback or suggestions our customers may have; we have set up a forum that allows you to chat with others in the local community and also a feedback page so that you can give us feedback on the service we offer.
